November Sky
What did we do?
Like all of our projects, we had to be partnered. We wrote down who we thought we'd work well with on a piece of paper, and Scott assigned us with our partners based on who we put down.
Marlie, my partner, and I were completely up for designing a rocket, but we weren't entirely all that enthusiastic about the work we had to put into it.

design and creation
We had to design the fins, first of all, and interpret how the different parts of the rocket will work and fit together.
After the fins were cut out and we had the base-tube of our rocket, we started to glue on the fins. After the nose arrived, we attached that to the rocket along with the parachute.
Once everything (except for the engine) was ready to go, we took everything outside and spray-painted our rockets. With not much to choose from, Marlie and I simply went with red, blue, yellow, and white.

lift off
Sadly, I was very sick and had to be in the hospital when everybody went out to Fiesta Island for the rockets' take-off.
I missed seeing my little creation take-off into the sky, but I'm sure it was beautiful.
