Humanities: what is it and What's so great about it?
Humanities is a study of the human colture. In humanities, we learn how to properly form sentences, write essays, and look deeper into the meaning of seemingly meaningless things.
But what's so great about that?

For one, we have an awesome teacher, Anna Chiles. She loves to make things fun for us, like welcoming us into class with a different song each day.
(She's also hecka stylish.) Another great thing about humanities is that it really drives you into different habits. When reading, you'll read something and think, "Hey, that could be something really important later!" You'll constantly read poems and other writing pieces and drive yourself to try and figure out the meaning behind it, even if the meaning really is just that a guy ate an apple. Not to mention, it's always important to know how to write sentences professionally, and that's what we learn in humanities. We also learned lots of crazy vocabulary words and how to pick words apart and predict their meaning based on the sentence it's in. Also, it's great to sound smart and professional when you write your resume for a job! -Cam |
