Mapping the self
What did we do?
The Mapping the Self project was a project in which we took a place that was important to ourselves or our family, or we just chose a cool map.
I chose a bike-map of Montreal, Canada because my grandma used to live there, and I really love my grandma.
We then took the maps and, in photoshop, edited our faces onto the map.
Below is the first and last draft of my map:

I found this project to be easy at first, but I also found it really stressful. I really liked my first draft until we had critiqued it, and I realised how much better it could get. I created a new one, and now I keep seeing the world as, "Hmm, it looks nice... but there's always going to be something about it that could change for the better." This project, being the first time I've ever had real critique like that, really opened my eyes a little bit more. Now, I'm always ready to be critiqued.
